Shivonie V Ross

Fifteen years in sports photography changes the way you see the game. For Vedoutie Ross, experience is measured not only in years behind the camera, but in the ability to recognize a moment before it becomes history. Across more than 15 years of sports photography and visual production, she has developed a body of work spanning professional sports, school athletics, live competition, athlete portraiture, media-day productions, photography, and video. That range has shaped a photographer equally comfortable with the unpredictability of live action and the precision required to build a powerful visual identity around an athlete or team. Her lens looks beyond the obvious. It finds the silence before the play, the pressure behind the athlete’s expression, the connection between teammates, the force of competition, and the emotion that remains after the scoreboard stops. That instinct comes with time. Years in the field have given Vedoutie the timing to anticipate action, the discipline to work under pressure, and the visual maturity to understand that some of sport’s most important photographs happen between the moments everyone else is watching. Working across both photography and video, she approaches every assignment as a storyteller first — preserving not simply the result of a competition, but its energy, character, humanity, and memory. Vedoutie joins the Eleven One Media international network as a Senior Sports Photographer & Visual Storyteller, bringing more than a decade and a half of experience to a global platform built around powerful editorial imagery and the people who create it. Because after fifteen years behind the lens, you don’t simply photograph the game. You learn how to preserve what it felt like.
